We make kakitama-jiru, a light egg soup.
Then we make tamagoyaki, a rolled Japanese omelette.

Before that, we make dashi together.
Dashi is a simple broth. Water, dried fish, and time.
When you taste it, you will understand why we start there.

You need eggs, soy sauce, a green onion, a pot and a pan.
Nothing special. Your local supermarket is enough.
